History of Satash Community Care
Support for children and adults with learning disabilities
Satash Community Care first established in 2006 founded by Logan & Letchmi Logananthan. It was their vision to provide a service for people with Learning Disabilities/Differences that was meaningful, specific, unique and positive to the people using their services. Excellent customer care to Logan and Letchmi is vital. Providing individualised, bespoke, “person centred services” using “person centred approaches” including respect, dignity and cultural identity is paramount to them. In January 2006 the organisation opened its first residential care setting to 4 adults with Learning disabilities and in June 2007 it opened a second project to provide further 4 adults placements. Both founders are passionate, proactive and positive about disabled people and through their expertise, skills and dedication they empower their staff team to share the same passion. Satash support people with Learning Disabilities/Differences to have a good quality of life which is meaningful and dignified which enables them to have privacy and freedom of choice so they can be active members of their local communities.
In January 2013 Satash added a Domiciliary Care service to the list of services being provided and In June 2013 Satash opened its doors to provide a Children/Young People provision / services also for children with disabilities.
